Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes had their first child, daughter Suri, which means "Princess" in Hebrew or "Red Rose" in Persian. Apparently it also means "Pickpocket" in Japanese, but I dont think they took that into account.

Suri weighed 7 pounds and 7 ounces and was 20 inches tall. Suri was born here in Los Angeles but the exact location was not disclosed. Tom Cruise is a practicing Scientologist and the baby was born under the tenets of the Church of Scientology as a silent procedure as Scientologists believe words spoken during times of pain are recorded by the "reactive mind" and can potentially cause problems for mother and baby later in life.
