 | Dec 31st, 2009 -Today is the last day of 2009 and my parents decided to take a chance and go watch a movie in the theater with me. My parents love to watch movies but ever since I was born they have never ventured near a movie theater (until today that is). They know that making me sit in a chair for 3 hours would be quite an achievement. Seems like the day had finally arrived (or maybe it was the movie) that they decided to take that step. The movie was called 3 Idiots and has been doing very well in India and around the world. We live in an area which has a large Indian community so we did not have to go very far to watch the movie. We went to a nearby Hollywood Theater to watch the movie and by some miracle, I actually sat through the entire show. It was not easy but my parents were armed with a large box of popcorn, juice and some candy. A couple of times, I wanted to leave but my parents managed to hold me. So, this day will go down in history as the last day of 2009 and my first movie I watched in a theater. Glad it was 3 Idiots, a hit movie, not RGV ki Aag or something like that.
