Feb 20th, 2008 -  Today is my dad's birthday, so "Happy Birthday Da-eey". Our birthdays are only 5 days apart which is really good. My dad's birthday marks the end of a few celebrations in the last month starting with my mother's birthday, my parents wedding anniversary, my birthday and my father's birthday. We went to Marina Del Rey in the morning for some shopping and lunch and in the evening we went to the Krishna temple in Culver City. I had a great time in the temple following people around. We also went to the vegetarian restaurant in the temple where I got a cookie. 

My parents also bought me a nice Indian kurta and pajama.  

Feb 15th, 2008 -  I turn two today, so happy birthday to  me.  The day started  with  cards and gifts from my grandma and parents. My parents got me a car toy because they know I like cars a lot. I also got a lot of  phone calls and emails all day long wish me a wonderful day. My mother made everything that I like (she does that everyday anyway). In the evening we cut a small cake. Tomorrow we are having a bigger party and I will cut the birthday cake then.

 Thanks everyone for your wishes. I wish everyday could be a birthday.

Feb 10th, 2008 -  Its time for the dreaded day when I have to get a haircut. For the last two haircuts, I was very restless and did not let my "hair stylist" (you cannot say barber in Los Angeles) cut my hair easily. This time too my dad had to put me in his lap and I had to get a haircut that way. This time though, I was not very unhappy and sat through most of it. My stylist cut my hair  really short and now my face looks perfectly round. My parents and grandmother were very happy to see my short hair.

Do you like my short hair or prefer me with my long locks? 

Feb 9th, 2008 -  Its my 2nd birthday next week and my parents are doing all the shopping for the party. We first went to Party City to get the plates, cups, spoons etc. Its a really big store. I think they are planning on a Barney theme for my birthday because everything they bought was purple in color. The store had so many ballons and I made sure my dad  got me one. 

From Party City we went to Gelsons market in Marina Del Rey. They have some of the best cakes around where we live. My parents ordered a cake for my birthday but they did not tell me what it is. I figure.....Barney??  

I had my Mickey Mouse cap on and many people were giving me a smile. Its a small world after all.  

Feb 3rd, 2008 -  Today is probably the biggest sports day of the year in America, SuperBowl Sunday. Most of the country comes to a standstill while the game is going on. This year the two teams that made it to the SuperBowl were the New England Partiots and the New York Giants with the Patriots favored to win as they had a not lost a single game this season. My parents had planned to spend the afternoon in front of the TV and we had food and drinks to go with the game. My mother had made some Tandoori Chicken.

The game was very exciting and went down to the last few seconds and my father was all excited with me screaming "Tuh-Dow Tuh-Dow". In the end the underdog Giants beat Patriots 17-14. This will probably be one of the greatest Super Bowls ever.
