Doing the laundry

Apr 29th,  2008 - My mother is always teaching me something. She teaches me some how to says some words, recognize things like animals etc and also allows me to do chores around the house. My latest fun job is doing the laundry. My mother usually does it right before I take my afternoon nap and what I do is is running to the laundry room and start shouting "Machi", "Machi". My parents were surprised when they heard me identify the soap as "Tide". I guess I learnt from watching the TV.

The Big Job

Apr 23rd,  2008 -  This is a topic I did not want to discuss on the blog but I guess I must. My parents got me a potty today and I suppose they will start the potty training from tomorrow. I immediately liked the color of the potty, its blue in color and matches the mats in the bathroom. As you can see, I sat on it and gave it a test drive. Wish me luck.

I can see the look on my parents

Thunder and Lightening

Apr 17th,  2008 -  Today wa a very busy day for us. In the morning, my parents took me out of the house as we had to go to the DMV to get their licenses, my dad had to go the dentist for a checkup and so I was quite happy to be out of the house and driving around in the car. It also meant that my dad was at home.

In the evening, we went out to Cimarron park again. I had a great time as I used the different slides in the park. There were some grown up boys playing soccer and  they were nice enough to give me the ball so that I could kick it in the goal. The weather started turning bad and so we went home quickly. By late evening, there was severe thunder and lightening but I did not get scared.

I stood in the window and was watching what was going on. Pretty cool stuff. We never got lightening like this when we were in LA.

Apr 15th,  2008 -  So far moving to Dallas has been good for me. There are so many parks close to where I live. My mother found me a new park, called the Champions park which is within walking distance from our apartment. Its a relatively quiet park compared so Rodeo Park and Cimarron Park and also build for toddlers my age. There was another 2 year old playing in the park and we had a lot of fun running around screaming and laughing as we ran into each other.

I like this park. Its nice and quiet.

Will the Tooth Fairy visit us tonight?

Apr 10th, 2008 -  My dad has been having a tooth ache for a few days and its become very bad today so we went to the dentist to have his tooth removed. My mom drove us all there in case my father was unable to drive on the way back. The staff at the dentist's office were very friendly to me. Jeannie had a two year old grandson, just like me so she was talking a lot to me. She also gave me a toy dragon whose teeth I could remove. So while I was pulling the dragon's teeth, my father was having his tooth pulled out. Poor guy.....

Finally he came out all relieved and we went home. I made sure that I gave him a big hug and made him feel better. I will be up all night waiting for the tooth-fairy to come...

Apr 12th,  2008 -  This morning we went to the Ikea store in Frisco to buy some furniture for the home. My parents found this nice table and chair for me to play with. Its a bright red chair and table and it looks nice, "I like it". My mother  assembled in the afternoon and I stared using it immediately. I put my doodle and some books on it.

Today was a fun day for me, in the morning, we also went to Cool Cuts for Kids and got a haircut for me. I feel good now, as its getting very hot here. In the evening, my day took me to Cimmaron park to play.

Apr 11, 2008 - As you all know from reading my blog, I love watching Barney. Lately I have started singing and dancing to the lyrics. We have three TVs at home and I want to watch Barney on all of them, my father calls it Barneypalooza or the Barney Festival. My favorite songs are "Mr Golden Sun" and "Hop Hop Hop". I think my parents are fedup of Barney but have to put up because of me.

I am sure they are very happy when I go and give the a big hug at the end of each episode when Barney goes, "I love you, you love me. We are happy family. With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you....Won't you say.....you loooovvvvvveee   me toooooooooooo"

Q-Tip Fun

E-mail Print PDF

Image Apr 8th, 2008 - My parents have hidden many things from my prying eyes but today I managed to get a hold of a large box of Q-Tips, almost 500, you know the ones from Costco. Before my parents could figure it out, I tore open the box and was throwing the Q-Tips around the house. Oh what fun!! You should have seen the joy on my face. Thankfully I am an aborable little baby otherwise, I would have got an EARful, if you catch my drift. Cool

Apr 6th, 2008 - Divya Aunty and Rahul Uncle had gifted me a motorcycle for my birthday but since we were moving to Dallas, my parents had not opened the gift for me until today. My father sat and assembled the bike for me and I found it very funny when he was using a hammer to setup the wheels. What was so funny, I have no idea but I could not stop giggling, thats just how we babies are. After it was assembled, my dad put on the nice stickers and it was ready to go. I sat on it for a while and rode my bike around the house. Thanks aunty and uncle for a very nice gift.

Fun at the Grapevine Mall

E-mail Print PDF

Image Apr 5th, 2008 - I keep outgrowing my clothes pretty quickly and so it was time to get more new clothes for me. There is a huuuuuuugggeee mall close to where we live called the Grapevine Mills Mall. It has so many stores, I was not able to count (you see, I can only count upto 10 right now).  My mother did all the shopping while I ran around the mall giving my dad a hard time. There were many small rides for children, colorful toy stores, food court and other things to distract me. There are so many childrens stores in this mall, Children's Place, Tommy Kids, Osh Kosh BGosh, KBToys, Gymboree.....I think a few people were smiling at me because I was trying on all the sandals on display in the shoe stores. We spent about 4 hours in the mall and returned home.

My summer wardrobe is ready....

Fun at Cimarron Park, Irving

E-mail Print PDF

Image April 3rd, 2008 -  In the quest to find me a new park, my parents have found an even bigger park, its called the Cimmaron Park and its about a mile away from where we live. The park has many things for everyone to do, basketball courts and hoops, slides, swings, kids play areas, soccer field, volleyball playground. I had a good time as I came sliding down the slides, walked through the tunnels, walked the bridges. My parents liked this park too and I think I will be having more fun here for the rest of the year.
