7th Aug 2007 - One of my father's very good friend, Ramesh Uncle is leaving LA. He lives in Denver and travels to LA for work but this is his last week here. He is also Victor's father. He starts a new job in LA next week and so we all went to dinner with him to the Belacn Grill, a Malaysian restaurant in Redondo Beach. My parents like this place a lot and we tend to go there once in a while. |
I was restless from the start at the restaurant and wanted freedom from my high-chair. I kpt struggling in the chair but somehow my parents managed to pacify me and keep me put handing me straws, food etc. Eventually, I could not take it any more and had to be taken out of the high chair. I was free to run around the restaurant. There was a nice fish tank at the entrance and it seemed to fascinate me. There was a little girl in the restaurant and she played with me for a while too. Eventually my parents managed to finish their dinner and we went home. I think my parents will not be going out for dinner for a long time, unless its a special occaision.
Good Luck Ramesh Uncle!! We will miss you.

Taking my Clothes off
 |
3rd Aug, 2007 - This seems to be a new phase in my life. I just love to take my clothes off and run around the house in my diapers. I suppose its due to the summer heat or maybe all children go through this phase in life. It would embarassing if this phase came later in life. This means, anything that can be pulled down or taken off are no longer part of my wardrobe. Anything that has zips is also off. This means, I am back to the onesies which are little difficult for me to unbutton. I have become quite adept at taking any T-shirts off. My parents are hoping that I do not figure out how to remove the onesie. |

Laughter is Infectious
|
1st Aug, 2007 - We babies are great entertainers. You have to be a great comic do make most people smile, but one little action from us babies and it brings a big smile to almost everyone's face. We should be paid for it. Today I was entertaining my mother with a blanket. For some reason, it caught my eye and I started playing hide and seek with it. I had such a good time, that I could not control my laughter. We all had a hearty laugh and it was a lot of fun. I hope I am as entertaining when I grow up. |

Fun in the Cupboard
 |
25th Jul, 2007 - We have a small cupboard in the living room that lies beneath the staircase. My father uses it to store some boxes and I love going in there any having fun. I go there and throw out all the things from that box. Usually my father places my toy box in front of it and I forget about it, but once I am in there, its hours of fun. Iam not even afraid of being in the dark. Lets see how long that lasts. |

Grease 2 - 25th Year Reunion
{smoothgallery} July 21st, 2007 - I went to a convention today and it turned out to be a Grease-2 reunion as well. I met Adrian Zmed, Leif Green, Maureen, Liz and Jean Sagal. They were very nice to talk to. They saw me and wanted to talk to me. I shook their hand but did not speak much. I think I was a little star-struck . They spoke to my parents for a while asking about where we were from, what we liked etc. They took pictures with us and signed a picture for me. On the picture Leif wrote...."To the handsomest boy in Hollywood".
Meeting Hollywood Celebrities
{smoothgallery} | } | July 21st, 2007 - Since we live in Los Angeles, there is a good chance, we can see or meet some Hollywood celebrities. My parents found one such event called the Hollywood Collectors show which invites some Hollywood celebreties to a convention where common people like myself can meet these starts, get their autographs, take pictures with them etc. My parents thought it would be a good idea to go meet some of them. Most of the stars who attend these events are not huge celebrities. In most cases, they were TV stars of shows that are no longer running or popular. |
Once we got there, we paid the entrance fee and went into the hotel conference room. It was well organized and very systematic. There was no crowd. We walked around to see if we could identify anyone and as we were going around, the Grease 2 table took a liking to me and wanted to talk to me. Imagine that, they wanted to talk to me. Having me around helped my parents to start a conversation with these stars. We took some pictures with them and they also autographed a picture for me. I met Adrian Zmed, Leif Green, Maureen, Liz and Jean Sagal. It was also the 25th year reunion of the movie. After that I met the Grease 2 cast, I met Lou Ferrigno, who was on the Incredible Hulk. Morgan Fairchild was sitting next to him but no one seemed to care. I also met Charlotte Rae who was Mrs Garrett on the show Diff'rent Strokes. I also took a picture with Barry Williams, who was Greg Brady on the Brady Bunch.
Admiring Myself
July 18th, 2007 - Sometimes, I sit in front of the mirror and talk to myself and admire myself. Its almost like I think that I am talking to someone else. I dont think I figured out its really me.
I love Junk Mail
| July 17th, 2007 - Most people in America get a ton of junk mail in their letterboxes, not to talk about junk email in their inboxes. My father would get frustrated with it but now he has found a new need for it. He gives it to me and I can spend a lot of time tearing it up. I love the tearning the paper, making a mess in the living room. I shred the paper into small pieces and put it into boxes, try to stuff it into the cupboard. Eventually my mother gets tired of the mess and takes it all away and throws it. I love junk mail |

New Fisher Price High Chair
| July 16th, 2007 - My parents got me a new high chair as a gift for turning 17. I had outgrown my baby booster seat and it was time to get a new high chair. After researching for a long time and going to different stores, they selected a Fisher Price adjustable high chair for me. My father decided to assemble it on Sunday morning and I "volunteered" to help. My father took all the pieces of out of the box and that was heaven for me. I was running around dragging the pieces across the room. My father began assembling the pieces and I became his able assistant. |
It took my father about 45 minutes to assemble the chair and I sat in it. At first I did not like it and wanted to be taken out of it. I started playing with the toys that come with the chair and then the chair did not seem that bad.

Happy 17th Month Birthday
 | July 15th, 2007 - Today is the 15th of July and I turned 17 months old (or young, as my dad says, now that he is getting old). My mother likes to celebrate every 15th in some way and so she baked a cake for me. It was a chocolate chip, banana and walnut cake. It was really nice and I cut it myself. I suppose time flies really quickly. It seems like it was only yesterday when I was born. |
I am able to walk now, eat almost everything, trying to talk a little, am able to follow things. I am practically a grown up now.

Baby Shower in the OC
 | July 14th, 2007 - One of my mother's friend had a baby shower today so we went to their home in Irvine. We had a nice long drive and as usual a rocking car put me right to sleep. Also, the last mile is when I wake up and start screaming and today was no different. We went into their house and there was a traditional Konkani ceremony conducted. I was very restless and my father had to hold me back otherwise I would have dropped a lot of stuff on the floor. |

Fun in the Garden
 | July 14th, 2007 - I was having fun in the balcony with the water and finally my father decided it was time to take me inside. I threw a tantrum and so my father had to taken me down to the garden and "let me loose". We went to the garden and I started playing a new game. I picked up all the small branches that had fallen on the ground and built a collection of it inside. I spent about 30 minutes taking it inside and then another few minutes trying to take it upstairs to the house. Finally, it was time to go upstairs and have dinner and head home. I slept on the ride home, just to wake up as we took the exit and start screaming. I think I have some inner sense of the speed of the car. |

| 13th July, 2007 - What a month, we have 07-07-07 and Friday the 13th all in same week. I ignored the 7th and I will ignore Friday the 13th. I am happy its a Friday which means its the weekend and I get more time with my father. It was a normal day and nothing much happened. We went to Target in the evening to buy some stuff for the house. I had a good time in the store as my father let me run around a little. |
