Oct 20th, 2007 - Today is the KASC's 2007 Diwali Function. Its a bit early this year. The function was in the afternoon, but my parents were preparing for it in the morning. My mother had to cook some Upma for the function. We reached the Arcadia Community Center around 3 in the afternoon. The rest of the committee members were there. We setup the decorations and other things.
Around 4 PM, the guest started arriving and the festivities began.Rahul Uncle and Divya Aunty were the MC and we had some good entertainment.
|
There was some singing, a special Fancy dress contest, a raffle among other things. My father did not let me go into the main hall as I was screaming and running around and disturbing the function. I made a new friend, Brenna. She was chasing me around the hall and we had our own little good time. My parents swapped duties and played witn me in outside the hall. At around 7 PM we had dinner which I liked. I ate dalitoi and rice and enjoyed the Gulab Jamuns too. We finally left around 8:45 and reached home. I was really tired after 5 hours of masti...

Disneyland Trip Pictures

These are images from my 2nd trip to Disneyland. As you can see, most of my pictures are with me in the stroller. My parents had to restrict me to the stroller because if they let me out, I was all out of control.
Meeting Pluto the Dog
Oct 14th, 2007 - I spent most of the day roaming around the park and just as we were about to leave, I got to meet Pluto the Dog. He was sitting in front of the Fire Station. I waited in line and then took a picture with him. I was not the least bit afraid to meet him.
A Day in the Life of - Me
|
Oct 12th, 2007 - Here is a typical day in my life. I usually wake up around 7 AM and have a glass of milk. After I see my dad off, I usually start having fun. I play with my toys for a while, I climb onto chairs and tables. I also like to take some cooking utensils from my mother and cook up a storm with it. You can see me mixing things (mostly cookie crumbs). In between all these stunts, I make some time to have a meal so that I can renew my energy. I take a nap for an hour in the afternoon and then its more of the same. My father gets back home around 6 in the evening. I play a little more, have dinner and finally go to be around 9:30. Thats a typical day in my life..... |

Hollywood Collectors Show
 |
Oct 6th, 2007 - There is a autograph collectors convention held once every 3-4 months here in Los Angeles. My parents went to the last one and they wanted to go to this one as the stars of one of the favorite show 3's Company were planning on attending the show. Joyce DeWitt (Janet) and Priscilla Barnes (Terri) were supposed to be there and my parents wanted to go see them. We went to the Marriott in Burbank and the parking lot was completely packed. We drove for about 10 minutes before my parents found a place to park. |
Once we were in, we found them sitting at a table and there was a small crowd around them. My parents waited in line and once they got to them, the spoke to them for a few minutes, got a couple of signed photos and we took a photo with them. My parents were very thrilled to see them.

I love Bath Time
|
3rd Oct, 2007 - Some kids love to take a bath and some don't. I love taking a bath. My mother tells me "Bath Time" and I immediately run to the staircase (the bathroom is upstairs). Once I get to the bedroom, I immediately go to the bathroom and take the bucket place it in the shower while my mother gets the towel, diapers etc. I love the hot water bath and start talking to my mother. My mother then rubs the lotion on me before dressing me up. Taking a bath is a wonderful feeling. |
Time to Shape Up
|
Oct 1st, 2007 - My parents just bought an exercise machine this weekend and obviously it caught my eye. I decided to give it a test drive. I was able to get up on the stepper and I felt very fit. I need to step up my level of mischief. Seems like my parents are not getting enough exercise from me. |

Goodbye Uncle
 |
29th Sep 2007 - For the last couple of weeks, we had Rockstar Uncle Sidharth staying with us. He found an apartment this week and moved out to his own place this morning. My dad dropped him in the morning. I was nice having him around at home as he would play with me and entertain me. I will certainly miss him.
Good luck with your studies uncle.

I wanna be a Rockstar
 |
Sep 27th, 2007 - I have been having a lot of fun having Sidharth uncle in the house. He talks to me, plays with me. I think I entertain him as much as he entertains me. I have a lot of fun when he lifts me and spins me around. Uncle has a guitar and he allowed me to hold the guitar. The guitar was bigger than me but I still wanted to hold it and pull the chords. I have seen the guitars on TV so many times but never held on and it felt nice.
Someday in the future.....I wanna be a rockstar too...Nikhil Sixx maybe?? . Don't I look really cool.

Chef Boy-ardee
 |
Sep 25th, 2007 - If you have been reading my blog, you may have already realized my love for food, cooking and the Food Network. Having watched my mother and the chefs cooking, I have started cooking on my own. I use the TV stand as my kitchen counter top and play with bowls, plates and measuring cups. If I manage to lay my hands on some food, I keep tossing it from one bowl to another. Sometimes, this can keep me occupied for a few minutes. My father calls my Chef Boy-ardee. Get it?? |

Raksha Bandhan
 |
19th Sep, 2007 - Rakhsa Bandhan is a Hindu festival celebrating the relationship between brothers and sisters. The sister ties a Rakhhi to the brother and the brother vows to protect her. I have two cousin sisters, Neha Akka and Anoushka Akka who are both in India and they sent me a Rakhi for Raksha Banhdhan. The Rakhis arrived ny mail today (thanks to some Postal delays) and my mother tied the rakhi's on my hand. Obviously they did not stay on for more than two minutes as I wanted to tear it apart.
Once I grow up, I will take care of my two sisters. Thanks for the Rakhis Akkas. You should have your gift soon.

Masti Masti and more Masti
 |
Sep 17th, 2007 - If you have not realized it by now, most of my time is spent doing Mast, Masti and more Masti. In between my Masti, I eat, drink and sleep but my prime goal in life at this point is to do masti and figure out how I can get better at it. Hey, at least I have some goals and objectives in life. In the last few weeks, I have learnt to drag chairs and climb on things, turn off the light switches, turn off the television.
Today was another normal day, I made a scene and managed to get hold of the rice bag and spill a bunch of it over the floor.

Rocker Uncle
|
Sep 15th, 2007 - Today Sidharth Uncle has come to stay at our home for a few days. He has come from Mumbai to LA to study at the Musician's Institute in Hollywood. He is going to improve his guitar skills and become a ROCKSTAR. He arrived in the afternoon and my parents were trying to keep him awake so that he does not have Jetlag.
Since it was Ganesh Chaturti yesterday, we decided to go to the Malibu Temple. We went to the temple and it was quite crowded. We prayed to all the gods and returned home. Uncle was very tired and went right to sleep. He must be all excited as he will be going to his institute tomorrow.
